This month sees a celebration taking place in our offices, and this is because we are 3 years old this July. Yep, your trusty, local magazine is entering its 3rd year in print and we would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all of you, our dedicated readers and advertisers, for without all of your support it would not have been possible.
So with this in mind we have a great magazine with a whole host of great content including the chance to win some great prizes to not only some fantastic tourist attractions in the area, but also to win a months membership at Willerby Manor, something I am sure we could all do with winning!

We have been infiltrated with new company editorials this month including learning more about both Caylyne Cabinets and Bathstore.

A very happy customer of Ferriby Windows and Building Services tells us why it should be your number one building company of choice and our sports page has had a slight re-adjustment so make sure you give it a look. Summer style is the focus of our fashion spread with James Wright and we had an exclusive invite to the re-opening of Lattitude, which we just had to share with you.

A fantastic event hits the region this month in the form of Hessle Feast, so make sure you revise the itinerary so you do not miss out on a second of the town festival. So, we are officially half way through the year and may I say how thankful I am that the summer months are finally upon us (or what we call a summer anyway). People have holidays to look forward to, days out to plan and a lot more socialising to look forward to. There is just something about the sunshine that brings out the best in people and I salute it!

In keeping with this, we have a fantastic edition for you this month. We unveil the winner of our fabulous 10 Years Younger Make-over competition as well as having a whole host of other great competitions for you to enter, throughout the magazine.

We dine out at The Village and meet Neil “Razor” Ruddock whilst helping you pick the perfect gift for the father figure in your life ahead of Father’s Day on June 21st.

We, of course, have our trusty sports pages where we learn more about what Hull F.C. have been up to over the past month as well as assessing the Hull City road to staying in the Premiership.

Brough Festival pictures are featured within the magazine as well as being online and we have some excellent editorials on coping with those summer allergies, hand luggage advice and a piece highlighting the foods you may be eating which you think are good for you but which are definitely not.

All in all, we are brimming with greatness this month so sit back, relax and more importantly enjoy.
